  Blood 1,5-AG level changes day-to-day according to the change of urine amount of glucose in patients with diabetes mellitus. The transit graph is like a stock price chart (Diabetes Res Clin Pract 24 (Suppl), S261,1994).

The change of 1,5-AG reflects the short-term change of glycemia by daily measurement, and represents the long-term trend of glycemia by long interval measurement.
